Infos und Screenshots zum FIFA Street Network

Auch wenn es nun endlich ein offizielles Release-Datum gibt (nämlich den 15. März 2012) sind die Informationen rund um FIFA Street noch sehr dürftig. Umso interessanter ist es allerdings, dass es nun einige Informationen und Screenshots über das FIFA Street Network gibt, die zeigen, wie die "Social Interaction" Elemente im Spiel präsentiert werden.

So wird es FIFA Street ermöglichen, dass man im Spiel von Spielszenen oder eigenen Tricks Videos aufzunehmen, um diese mit seinen Freunden zu teilen. Ausserdem wird es möglich sein, seinen eigenen Fortschritt mit dem seiner Freunde zu vergleichen. Darunter wird man auch erfahren können, wie sich die Mannschaften verändert haben, wenn man neue Tricks erlernt hat, und generell der Fortschritt des Spielers in den verschiedenen Spielmodi (insbesondere die World Tour und der Head-to-Head Online Season).

Auch soll es wohl möglich sein, dass man ein eigene Teams aus den Spielern mit seinen Freunden erstellen kann, um mit diesen dann gegen andere Teams anzutreten.

Insgesamt klingen diese Ankündigungen allerdings sehr nach bekannten Features aus FIFA 12: So scheint man den EA Football Club etwas weiterentwickelt und erweitert zu haben. Dass man zusammen mit den Spielern seiner Freunde gegen andere Teams antreten kann klingt ebenfalls sehr vertraut, es könnte eine Abwandlung des Pro Club Modus werden.

Im folgenden haben wir die offiziellen Aussagen von EA Sports, die die oben genannten Punkte betreffen, für euch herauskopiert:

“Through the Street Network, players will be able to capture video of their best tricks and share them in-game with friends, showing off their personal favorites and embarrassing their opponents.  In addition, friends will be able to track and compare each other’s progress throughout the game, including World Tour story mode and Head-to-Head Online Seasons, and follow each other’s status in EA SPORTS Football Club.

“Street football is all about the one-on-one battle, when you pull off a trick to roast your opponent,” said producer Sid Misra. “The Street Network brings that real-world swagger into the game by enabling players to capture video of those moments and share them with everyone in their street network to see, and providing friends with a way to compare each other throughout the game.”

The Street Network will enrich the World Tour story mode, where gamers create a team of friends and compete in a connected world against other FIFA Street gamers’ teams. Players will be able to follow each other’s status as they build their squads, unlock new tricks, and progress through the story of their journey to street football glory. Players will be able to share and compare progress with friends directly in the Street Network and it will also broadcast in-game videos like “Goals of the Week”, and alert friends to each other’s accomplishments throughout the game.”
