Because of the big request where and how to download and install the Winter Transfer Update which was released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 yesterday, here a small instruction:

go to the FIFA 10 main menu

Edit teams -> Download latest squads

the update downloads and will be installed then

The update can be undone at Edit teams -> Reset all squads.

The addon FIFA 10 Ultimate Team can be downloaded now.

There are available these versions:

Ultimate Team (English) - 689 MB

Ultimate Team (Francais) - 695 MB

Ultimate Team (Espanol) - 695 MB

Ultimate Team (Italiano) - 704 MB

Ultimate Team (Deutsch) - 703 MB

Furthermore there is available a Demo Version in the Playstation Store and in the Xbox Marketplace in which you can play 5 matches for free.
The price of the addon is 4,99 EUR or 400 MS Points.

The official Winter Transfer Update by EA Sports has been released today for the Playstation 3 and for the Xbox 360.

The Winter Update for the PC version will be released next week.

Tomorrow the new FIFA-AddOn Ultimate Team will be released. We have already mentioned what you have to expect from the add-on (look the FIFA 10 Ultimate Team-article in this gap).
In order to find your way in the new add-on EA kindly allocates some tutorials about it. These will introduce you to the basics, transfers and everyday situations.

Today FUSSBALLFAN TV by EA went online. FUSSBALLFAN TV is a broadcast, which will be moderated by Lucas Vogelsang. It will be report on news around FIFA, FM and the real football-world.
The first episode is online and the next episodes will follow monthly.

In the first episode Lucas Vogelsang reports about the new WC-game and he has interviewed Tranquillo Barnetta (Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and Bastian Schweinsteiger (FC Bayern München).

In the 3rd quarter 2010 FIFA Online should be released - a free browser game of FIFA. The game is developped by EA Sports and could get an interesting combination of a role-playing game and a soccer game.

With wins and successfull tournaments you get experience and your team can increase its level. With prices and rewards you can imprive the performance of your own players. The well-arranged menues allows to modify all necessary settings for the team management, probably it won't get as extensive as the team management in the FIFA 10 career mode.

You can play matches against real opponents but also against KI teams. There are available 30 different leagues, but also some other tournaments like the coming FIFA World Cup. Very interesting is the licence pack, so that the browser game will include all the original teams and players.

At the moment the game in the closed beta state. In June the open beta test of FIFA Online should start.

We will inform you as soon as there are available more information about the new free browser game of EA.
